Popular FAQ’s

Pinch Pleated Drapes, You are going to measure across the front of the “existing drapery rod” from tip-to-tip. Do not measure around the ends of the drapery rod or the drapery rod brackets. This is called the return and we will add that for you. Just measure across the front of the drapery rod only from one tip-to-tip. We add the Overlap and Returns to the drapes for you. Overlap is where the drapes meet in the middle. Returns are the part of the drapes that wrap around the end of the drapery rod.

SECONDLY, Measure from the top center of the “existing drapery rod” down to where you want the drapes to end up hanging. The drapes are made to the finished height you select. If you have a standard traverse rod currently hanging, measure from the top of the drapery rod to where you are going to want the drape to hang too. For a custom rod, you are going to measure from 1 inch above the whole the drapery pin is going to be inserted. After you have your sizes, you can select a Pair or Panel. A Pair is 2 Pieces that will cover that area. A Panel is One Piece that will cover that area. For Pinch Pleated style, we add 2 to 2 and half times the width of fabric so the drapes hang correctly and flow nicely.

Grommet Top Drapes, you are going to measure the rod from tip-to-tip. Then, you will measure from the top of the rod to the height you would like them to hang. After you have your sizes, you can select a Pair or Panel. A Pair is 2 pieces that will cover that area. A Panel is one piece that will cover that area. For Grommet Top style, we add 1 and half to 2 times the width of fabric so the drapes hang correctly and flow nicely.

Pocket Top Drapes, you are going to measure the rod from tip-to-tip. Then, you will measure from the top of the rod to the height you would like them to hang. After you have your sizes, you can select a Pair or Panel. A Pair is 2 pieces that will cover that area. A Panel is one piece that will cover that area. For Pocket Top style, we add 1 and half to 2 times the width of fabric so the drapes hang correctly and flow nicely.

The addition of a cloth lining to the back of a  lined drape fabric creates three distinct advantages over an unlined drape. For example: 1) A lined drape has superior insulation value against winter cold and summer heat. It can thereby help reduce your utility costs which is a good thing wherever you live. 2) Lined drapes also dampen or reduce sound from outside sources. 3) If privacy is something you value, then you have got to buy lined drape. They offer you complete privacy and comfort. 4) Because the lining protects the face cloth from damaging sun rot, lined drapes can last 10 to 15 years longer than unlined drapes. 5) Light reduction – lined drapes greatly reduce the light pouring into your rooms. 6) Blackout – if you want to darken the room perhaps for sleeping, just add a blackout lining to your drape. Unlined drapes are good alternatives when you want the most economical window covering. There are many colors and styles to choose from with unlined fabrics.
